In one of my previous articles on weight loss I discussed how you can make your body heighten it’s metabolism and burn more fat by eating several small meal throughout the day. This works wonders and can have you losing weight without exercise, if you don’t have the time to workout.
But, there is also another great way to rev up your metabolism and lose even more weight.
Very simply do a workout in the morning, either as soon as you get up, or within the first hour of waking.
What this does is sets a pace for your metabolism for most of your waking day. Normally when people get up in the morning they are of course a bit sluggish. Most love a hot shower in the morning and some coffee to get going. While coffee stimulates the metabolism, it does not do so as well as a nice workout, and doesn’t have the health benefits.
If you want to keep this going throughout the day, simply do a quick set of jumping jacks, crunches or push-ups periodically throughout the day. You don’t have to break a sweat or do a major workout with these small spurts, just enough to get the heart pumping a bit.

I do this every morning, it takes me between 15 -20 minutes and gets me pumped for my day. I recently took off an extra five pounds, over two weeks, simply by doing this starting this light workout first thing in the morning.
